Production

Independent stories. International collaboration.

1221 Films develops and produces independent feature films, connecting creative talent and production partners across the United States and South Korea.

Development & Packaging

We collaborate with filmmakers to shape original projects, refine their creative direction and bring together the elements needed to move toward production.

Production & Co-production

Our work brings creative and practical planning together, from pre-production through principal photography, with a focus on international collaboration.

Post-production & Release Preparation

We approach post-production with the finished film and its audience in mind, aligning creative decisions with the needs of a future release.

Creative Technology

Filmmaker-led. Technology-enabled.

We integrate AI into selected stages of our filmmaking process to expand creative possibilities, with our filmmakers guiding the vision and final decisions.
